Description
While painting this I listened to The Spiritual Physics of Light by Aaron D. Franklin. I thought about how some of us are more comfortable in the light of the Heavenly Mother, the Father, or the Son according to our life experiences. If we had an abusive parent, for example, we may not connect with The Father or The Mother.
Then I thought about the blood of the Son and how the whole Heavenly Family wept while he suffered. After that I thought about how they weep for us and want us to return to them, to be a Heavenly Family together once more.
Light comes in different tones and shades, I chose yellow for The Son, because the sun is healing and enables us to grow by His light. The Father is blue because He reminds me of the vast consistency of the Universe, a glowing blue twilight sky where we can see stars and there is no end. For Heavenly Mother I chose a rose tone because like roses she is sweet and caring, but like roses if you handle her or her loved ones with harm you will be pierced with thorns.
I included the symbol of red poppies because they represent the blood of Christ. They show how we can grow gracefully through His sacrifice, in other words, His love for us.
