What this one is about

This painting has already spurred a lot of questions.

Why is this painting called “The Second Resurrection?” Why did you paint the bird red? Why are the claws sharp, it seems too raw? Why are the wings damaged? What do the ladders mean? Why are the ladders gold at the top?
